A few years ago, I photographed an abandoned #church in a quiet English market town. In 2022 it was tastefully renovated into a cosy holiday home. What are your thoughts on this? 💭
I often wonder—do you prefer to glimpse these places as they are in my images, frozen in time but forgotten? Or do you enjoy hearing tales of renovation and second chances (whatever those may be)?

It's interesting to see buildings that you don't normally have access to, but it's a shame when buildings start falling down and cant be repaired.
We have so many in the UK, it's a shame more aren't able to be reused.
Sometimes it's due to restrictions because the buildings are "listed", and this puts people off because it can be a nightmare to get planning permission to change things.
I get the reason for it, but at the same time, I'm sure we're losing old buildings that could have been saved 😕

Ah I hear you, I am UK based myself. The listed building system can be a blessing and a curse! It saves many being knocked down but also prevents countless spaces from being redeveloped tastefully
