#Spotted While Roaming in Aotearoa #newzealand
A tiny human (months?) and a tiny puppy (beagle cross) are cheerfully sitting next to each other, chewing and drooling on anything and everything they can get a hold of. Every now and then trying to gum each other for good measure.
A group of locals are waiting outside a theatre and one mentions they were involved in the making of the Lord of the Rings films. Moments later, almost everyone has admitted they had some part to play in the films and are cheerfully swapping orc stories.
In a cafe, a woman (60s?) is telling a friend she's accidentally boosted a Facebook post for the charity she volunteers for and can't turn it off. The money's adding up. A nearby woman (30s?) overhears and offers to help. Problem soon solved.
Two young humans (7 & 9?) are sitting next to their parents in a cafe, playing a raucous game of Argument Chess, which involves Big Sister deciding what the rules are and Little Sister getting bendy with her queen's moves. Blatant threatening of pawns to follow!
A woman (20s?) is sitting in a cafe writing in a dog-eared diary. She's got headphones on, she's got a cappuccino by her side and she's totally absorbed in her words. A charming personification of lo fi beats to study to.
Any typos spotted in this post are Argument Chess champions of old. If spotted, please don't comment on the way their queen is rampaging up the board or you may risk a pawn being vigorously catapulted into your mum's coffee.
