I'm a #Moluccan girl (51), born and raised in the Netherlands. Educated to become a medical/technical #translator, English into Dutch.
Recently, started #ShaolinKempo and fairly good at it already. It's the combination of getting even stronger and disciplined that does it for me.
Spend my time as deacon of a Moluccan #church where I was baptized in another lifetime. Main #caregiver of my 80 y/o dad.

I work in tech leadership, writing software for food banks and poverty relief orgs. I'm in a small city in #Canada, and even this one's too busy for my wife. I'm being vague, but will open up over time. Before my current role, I was a professor and teacher for a decade.
I'm a practicing #Anglican, and seeking further knowledge. I strayed from the #church for a couple decades but I'm back and, like many, making up for lost time.

This abandoned church stands on a small hill, making it a prominent landmark. It was built in the 1880s in the Gothic style. During the early 2010s, the church was declared redundant and closed. The closure was in response to shrinking congregation sizes, as well as a lack of funds to repair the roof.

The General Assembly had urged a ban, so the submission is broadly supportive. "The #Church's thinking is deepened by hearing the experiences of survivors of conversion practices...
