Today, I went to a place no one went before (AFAIK):

"Pulling Ilford HP5+ to ISO 3"

I shot pull-processed an ISO 400 film as if it was an ultra-slow emulsion and got what I think are pretty nice results.

I actually shared a photo with y'all last year from this roll, and no one has noticed anything wrong!

Today, Danilo Leonardi, a regular analog.Cafe contributor, shows us his results with Harman Phoenix 200, developed and scanned as a slide film.

Tomorrow I get to do something fun: I get to lick the science!

My last bottle of DD-X developer expired (quite spectacularly, I had to get a hacksaw to open it and add it to the disposal container), but I've got ONE roll of film left to process.

Instant coffee
Ascorbic acid powder (vitamin C)
Washing soda (sodium carbonate)

Two of those, are lickable. That's the delta recipe for #caffenol, although I'm using it for HP5+ not Delta, it's still effective. I could've gone with Caffenol-C-H instead but that needs potassium bromide which can't be delivered as quickly and I'm not a patient person (hah!)

Yesterday I received the results of the first roll of #Ilford #hp5 shot with my vintage #nikon FM (bought second hand in 1988) in, about 25 years. I had serviced the camera (it survived) and recently found a #nikkor lens 28mm f/2.8 in good condition. I set up a still life just to test camera and lens. #believeinfilm #blackandwhite #aldofoto #monochrome .

does anyone have any idea why Ilford Delta Pro 100 would turn out so grainy in full sun? And what's up with these black spots? Trying to sort out if my camera is dying, or if there's something else amiss.
